Favorite Inland Empire Restaurant: Chevy’s or Isabella’s
Favorite free thing to do in the I.E.: Any area mall and just people watch…
Most unforgettable artist interview: Pam Tillis – We had a great conversation… we seemed to connect as we talked about some old country songs nobody probably remembers and she thanked me for “being prepared” and not asking the same old lame questions.
Star I never met, but always wanted to: Well, I did for years, Tanya Tucker, but I did finally get to meet Alan Jackson in 2004.
Wildest listener phone call: I think it has to be when we were giving away a bunch of trips to Hawaii and this lady calls one day to ask if they were round trips. I laughed because I thought she was joking, and then I realized she was asking me seriously. I proceeded to tell her we would get her there, but she would have to get back…
Favorite concert experience: It always goes back to Alan Jackson. He’s not big and flashy, but he has a group of people that put on a great multimedia show. And then there’s the time we got to see the Dixie Chicks at Knott’s Berry Farm on the stage near where the railroad tracks run through. The show was awesome, they floored me and the next thing you know they were nationwide!
Hobbies: I love movies, so I watch a lot of those. I’m a very amateur wood worker, I’ve made a few things over the years, love to cook and take photographs.
CDs in the glove compartment: Alan Jackson, What I Do; Remember the Titans soundtrack; Gretchen Wilson, Michael McDonald, Motown II; Jackson Brown, Running On Empty…
