My name is J.B... "Jeremiah Bullfrog". My parents named me Jeremiah because they loved the band "Three Dog Night". From what I was told, I was born early in the morning on April 12th , 1973 in the beautiful city of Montebello, CA. Located just 7 miles east of "East L.A."!!
My dad retired from AT&T a few years back and my mom works at an elementary school.
I am the youngest of 5 boys, my poor mother!!! And yes, I was and still am, treated like the baby of the family!!
I spent the first 26 years of my life living in the San Gabriel Valley in a humble little gang infested town called El Monte! I graduated from Arroyo High School in 1991, Go Knights! I attended and dropped out of Pasadena City College where I painfully decided to pursue a career in radio. I got my first job in radio working at the college public radio station, KPCC!
In 1994 I made the big move to B-T-R!!! "Big Time Radio" working for a very legendary morning personality who's no longer with us. Let's just say it involved the words.. "Good Morgan!!!" While working with him, I learned how to get yelled at by very old people. In fact it actually took me about 3 years for me not to roll up in a ball and cry profusely!!
In 1999 I married my high school sweetheart Diana (aka: Mrs. Bullfrog) where together we did 3 years of living in the middle of East L.A. where we saved to buy our home.
We currently reside in the I.E.'s fastest growing community: Fontana! We have a love bird named "Lovey", a cat named "Pepper", and two dogs. named "Yuma" and "Dallas."
I came to K-Frog in April of 2005 after months of pleading and begging with Scott and station management to hire me! Although Scott and Tommy still believe that I'm one phone call away from leaving.. let them think that.
Finally..
Here's a little known fact about me: I once tried to put out a brush fire by stomping it out. one problem.. I was wearing sandals. the result: 2nd and 3rd degree burns on both feet. I couldn't walk for 3 months!!!!
